We are a vibrant inter-denominational 400+ member Christian congregation committed to spiritual nourishment and growth through regular worship, thoughtful education, and faithful community, striving to live as obedient disciples of Jesus Christ, loving God and loving neighbor.
We welcome all to join us in worship at our Sunday Service at 8:30 am in our sanctuary located at 25603 North Danny Lane in Rio Verde, Arizona.
We offer educational programs including Bible studies, book studies, and annual retreats, pastoral care and mission ministries both locally and internationally, weekly fellowship after Sunday worship, concerts, lectures, dinners and membership gatherings to nurture and strengthen our faith.
We are delighted to announce that Pastor Steve Beard has begun his ministry as the new Senior Pastor of the Community Church of the Verdes. All are welcome to attend our services to hear his inspirational sermons and join us for fellowship and a chance to meet him afterwards.

The attendance at Sunday's service was 132 in person; 149 views online. The flowers were donated by Kathie Sankey in memory of her mom, Trudie Higgs.
Sandwich making and delivery for the Justa Center will continue during the summer on the third Thursday of each month at 9 am.
We will resume Monthly Mission Drives in October. The Mission Committee is grateful to everyone who contributed time, talent and treasure to last season's activities and we wish you a blessed summer.
Volunteers for Fellowship, Ushers, Lectors, Teller and Communion Stewards needed for the upcoming months. Please sign up in the office with the Office Manager or Sunday after service in Founders Hall.
