A graduate of Miami of Ohio with a degree in Psychology and Gerontology, Jerry spent 38 years as a health care administrator. During his career, he operated multiple retirement centers, nursing and rehabilitation centers, adult day care facilities, hospice and home care agencies. He became interested in the health care field after working as a caregiver in a nursing home during high school. In his retirement, he has returned to his roots as a private duty caregiver.

Jerry and his wife, Lorie, reside in Rio Verde. They have two sons and two grandsons. Fortunately, the grandsons reside in Mesa, so grandparenting is a big part of their lives.
