Our pastoral care mission is dedicated to fostering a compassionate, supportive, and inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and heard. We strive to nurture spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and a sense of belonging within our community by providing a confidential and safe environment.  By providing empathy, guidance, and encouragement, we support each individual on their journey and offer hope during challenging times and celebration in times of joy, guided by the Teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Stephen Ministries

The mission of Stephen Ministry is to help congregations equip God's people for spiritual growth and the Christ-centered ministry of providing care to others who are experiencing life’s challenges and trials in a confidential and private manner.

Stephen Ministers initially receive specialized training by Stephen Leaders, maintain continuing education and benefit by peer-to-peer supervision. They are care givers - not cure givers, and their role is only to listen and to care, not to give advice or direction as they are not professional counselors or social workers. 

Our Stephen Ministry program also helps to coordinate a Grief Support Group, typically held annually in February.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We began participating in the Prayer Shawl Ministry, a worldwide multidenominational ministry, in 2011. Since then, countless shawls have been stitched to give to those who are experiencing grief, surgery, cancer treatment, illnesses or just in need of comfort. The shawls are prayed over during their creation and blessed upon completion.
