Ways to Help

There are many ways volunteers pitch-in to enhance our glorious Sunday Services. Individuals moved by the Spirit are welcome to be part of our worship, either in front of or behind the scenes. Everyone is trained by the leaders of each team and receive written direction to help them understand their duties. We are truly grateful to everyone who participates.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms," 1 Peter 4:10

Here are the Sunday volunteer opportunities:

  • Badge Table Volunteers are the first to greet fellow worshipers, as they handout name badges.

  • Ushers distribute bulletins, light the candles, pass the collection plate, help guests line up for communion and, after the service, count the participants, collect Fellowship Pad sheets and ensure the church is left in order.

  • Lay Readers read the scripture reading during worship.

  • Communion Stewards serve communion on the first Sunday each month.

  • Communion Table Volunteers setup and take down the communion table weekly, including setup of the communion sacraments each month.

  • Flowers Volunteers provide the weekly floral arrangements for the communion table.

  • Tellers are two members who sort, count and report the funds received from the offering (couples are not permitted).

  • Fellowship Hour Hosts provide refreshments and coffee following Sunday worship.
